Neurotoxins
Neurotoxin is the blanket term for Botox and Dysport. Both of these neurotoxins are derived from the same protein, Botulinum Toxin Type A. They are essentially the “same.” Both products are very effective but are made by two different companies. Dysport generally starts working faster than Botox for most people. However, some people report one can work better than the other for them.
Each person is different and the answer to which works better varies among people. This is why we carry both at The Aesthetic Label. If you don’t know which one to choose, don’t worry. We can help you determine which is the best for you at your appointment.
-
Botox and Dysport work by interrupting the communication between nerves and muscles, resulting in muscle relaxation. These treatments effectively prevent or reduce wrinkles and lines on the face and neck. Additionally, they are utilized to address hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) in areas such as underarms, hands, and feet. When targeting sweat reduction, neurotoxins inhibit the secretion of the chemical responsible for activating sweat glands. At d’lux aesthetics, we offer a range of other treatments that utilize neurotoxins, and we would be delighted to provide you with detailed information during your visit.
Botox and Dysport leave the body rather quickly after being injected. The time you see results is the time it takes the body to reestablish communication between the nerve and muscle again. This is why you see movement return gradually.
-
If you notice wrinkles or lines on your Glabella (11's), Frontalis (forehead lines), and Crowsfeet (around the eyes) even without expression, these are referred to as static lines. It's a clear indication that it's time to consider using Botox or Dysport! Starting these treatments early, as soon as these lines emerge, is highly beneficial. They can not only reduce the appearance of such lines but also work best as a preventive measure. Depending on the severity of the static lines, Botox and Dysport can lead to their healing or halt their progression.
To put it in perspective, think of wrinkling a piece of paper—once the lines are there, they persist despite efforts to smooth them out. They may diminish, but they remain visible. The less damage your skin endures over time, the easier it becomes to achieve complete correction rather than mere improvement.
-
Results last 3 months, on average.
However, individual experiences can vary. Some people may see results lasting for two months, while others may enjoy the effects for up to four months. In many cases, the skin can maintain an improved appearance beyond the three-month mark. Nevertheless, we recommend treatments every three months to prevent the reformation of old wrinkles and the emergence of new ones. In some cases, consistent use over time can lead to longer-lasting results, reducing the frequency of appointments needed to maintain the desired outcome.
Botox and Dysport are dosed differently due to variations in the size of their molecules, despite both being derived from the same protein. Dysport has a smaller molecule size, which is why a higher number of units is used compared to Botox. For instance, a typical full treatment for the upper face may require around 50 units of Botox, whereas Dysport may require approximately 150 units for a similar treatment. However, the number of injection sites remains the same for both products. The ratio between the two is roughly 3:1, but there's no need for you to worry about the calculations. We have your back (or forehead)! The cost of the treatments is comparable between Botox and Dysport.
-
Botox - $37.50/Unit When you buy 1-19 units

Dysport - $6/Unit When you buy 60-119 units
Dysport - $5.20/Unit When you buy 120 units or more
Dermal Fillers
Let's talk about fillers! At The Aesthetic Label, we prioritize the use of the safest dermal fillers available. Most of our dermal fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally produced in your body. Yes, that's right—our bodies produce hyaluronic acid! It's a clear, gel-like compound, a complex sugar, primarily present in your skin, connective tissue, and eyes. Its primary function is to retain moisture and provide lubrication to these areas. Interestingly, we have discovered that when hyaluronic acid is produced externally, it can effectively reverse signs of aging by restoring volume and structure to the face.
While the hyaluronic acid in our bodies resembles the one in syringes, manufactured hyaluronic acid comes in various consistencies, characteristics, and sizes. This is because not all hyaluronic acid is the same. Just like an artist who uses different mediums to create different art, expert injectors select fillers based on the specific areas they are working on, such as temples, cheeks, undereye, lips, jawline, or chin. Choosing the right filler for your aesthetic goals is not something you need to worry about. We will guide you through the process, helping you select the most suitable filler or combination of fillers to achieve your desired results.
-
The duration of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers can vary depending on several factors, including the specific product used, the treated area, individual metabolism, and lifestyle factors. On average, the effects of hyaluronic acid fillers typically last between 6 to 18 months. That being said, once we get you to your goal you will have long-lasting results that only require an annual touchup.
Some hyaluronic acid fillers are designed to provide longer-lasting results compared to others. Products with higher cross-linking or greater viscosity tend to have a more durable effect. For example, certain formulations may be specifically indicated for deeper facial wrinkles or areas that require more volume restoration, and these may have a longer duration of action.
Additionally, the rate at which hyaluronic acid fillers break down can be influenced by individual metabolism and lifestyle factors. Factors such as smoking, excessive sun exposure, and a fast metabolic rate can potentially accelerate the breakdown of the filler, resulting in a shorter duration of effect.
It's important to note that individual experiences may vary, and the longevity of results can differ from person to person. Regular maintenance treatments or touch-ups may be recommended to sustain the desired outcome over time.

Sculptra
We also offer another filler called Sculptra at The Aesthetic Label. Sculptra is composed of Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA), which is a widely researched and safe polymer commonly used in biodegradable medical products. In simpler terms, PLLA is a synthetic substance created to mimic lactic acid, a natural product produced in our muscles after exercise. PLLA consists of lactic acid molecules joined together in strings, forming a polymer.
Sculptra sets itself apart by working deep within the skin in collaboration with your body to revitalize collagen production and restore the inner structure and volume of your skin. It doesn't act topically like creams but acts at a deeper level. Results with Sculptra appear gradually over time and can last up to two years. The most popular treatment areas for Sculptra include the temples, cheeks, and buttocks. That's right, it can also help achieve a plump and youthful appearance in the buttock area. As mentioned earlier, Sculptra is just another medium for our skilled artists, and each patient will undergo an assessment to determine if Sculptra is suitable for their specific aesthetic goals.
-
Polylactic acid, or PLLA, has been successfully employed for over 25 years in dissolvable stitches, bone screws, plates, and even as a means of medication administration. It has now been utilized as an injectable solution known as Sculptra, which stimulates collagen production. It's important to note that Sculptra should not be mistaken for collagen dietary supplements, which aim to boost collagen production within the body. When ingested, collagen, a protein, is broken down by the digestive system, and the effectiveness of such treatments remains inconclusive. Traditional collagen creams, on the other hand, aim to deliver collagen that can be absorbed by the skin. However, due to the large size of collagen molecules, they typically provide only temporary improvements in the skin's appearance as they are unable to penetrate the dermis effectively.
-
Sculptra is a versatile filler that can effectively treat various areas, including the temples, cheeks, and buttocks. Here's how Sculptra can be used to enhance these specific areas:
Temples: As we age, the temples can lose volume, resulting in a sunken or hollow appearance. Sculptra can be injected into the temples to restore lost volume and create a more youthful contour. By stimulating collagen production deep within the skin, Sculptra helps to replenish and restore the natural fullness of the temples.
Cheeks: Sculptra is particularly well-suited for enhancing cheek volume and structure. With age, the cheeks may lose volume, causing a flattened or sagging appearance. By injecting Sculptra into the cheeks, it stimulates the production of collagen, which helps restore volume and lift to the area. This can result in more defined cheekbones, improved facial balance, and a rejuvenated appearance.
Buttocks: Sculptra can also be used to enhance the buttock area, offering a non-surgical option for those seeking a plumper and more youthful-looking derriere. Known as a "non-surgical butt lift," Sculptra injections in the buttocks can improve volume and firmness, providing a subtle lift and improved contour. The gradual and long-lasting results of Sculptra make it an attractive option for buttock augmentation without the need for invasive procedures.
In all these areas, Sculptra works by stimulating the body's natural collagen production over time. The injected Sculptra acts as a scaffold, promoting the growth of new collagen fibers, which gradually restore volume, improve skin texture, and enhance the overall appearance. The treatment is typically performed through a series of sessions to achieve optimal and natural-looking results.
-
The results of Sculptra can last up to two years. Unlike some other dermal fillers that provide immediate volume, Sculptra works differently by stimulating collagen production over time. The injected Sculptra particles act as a scaffold, triggering the body's natural collagen synthesis process. As new collagen forms, it gradually restores volume, improves skin texture, and enhances the overall appearance.
Due to this unique mechanism of action, the results of Sculptra develop gradually and may require multiple treatment sessions spaced several weeks apart. The full effects become noticeable over several months as collagen production increases. While individual experiences may vary, the benefits of Sculptra typically last for an extended period once the desired results are achieved.
It's important to note that maintenance treatments may be necessary to sustain the results. Some individuals opt for occasional touch-up sessions every few years to maintain the desired level of volume and rejuvenation. Working closely with a skilled healthcare professional can help determine the ideal treatment plan and frequency of touch-ups based on your individual goals and response to Sculptra.

Kybella
Kybella, Kybella, Kybella! I love this magic fat dissolving potion at The Aesthetic Label.
Kybella, the remarkable fat-dissolving solution offered at The Aesthetic Label, is truly a game-changer. Its active ingredient is a synthetic form of Deoxycholic Acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the digestive system that aids in breaking down and absorbing dietary fat. This injectable treatment has gained FDA approval as the only one of its kind capable of destroying fat cells.
Once Kybella is injected, it effectively eliminates fat cells, rendering them unable to store or accumulate fat. This means that once you achieve your desired aesthetic outcome, further treatment is typically unnecessary.
Kybella offers a non-surgical alternative to address stubborn areas of fat, providing noticeable and long-lasting results. However, it's crucial to consult with a qualified healthcare professional to evaluate your individual needs, discuss potential risks or side effects, and develop a personalized treatment plan.
-
Kybella works by directly targeting and destroying fat cells when injected beneath the skin. This process leads to a visible reduction in fullness and fat accumulation in the treated area. Once the fat cells are eliminated, they cannot regenerate or store fat again, making Kybella a permanent treatment for fat reduction.
During each Kybella session, multiple small injections will be administered beneath the skin. The injection process typically takes around 2 minutes to complete. The specific number of injections required will vary depending on the amount of fat in the treatment area and the desired results. Your healthcare provider will determine the appropriate number of injections needed to effectively address your individual concerns and achieve optimal outcomes.
-
Chin - Bra Fat - Jowls - Arms - Stomach - Lower Back - Side - Under Buttocks - Inner Thighs
The most popular area for Kybella treatment is the submental fat pad, commonly referred to as the "double chin." However, Kybella can also be used to target other areas such as jowls, bra fat (front or back), arms, stomach, lower back and sides (flanks), the fat roll beneath the buttocks (banana roll), and inner thighs. It's important to consult with a trained medical provider to assess the patient and determine whether Kybella is suitable for a specific area.
-
The number of Kybella treatments required can vary from patient to patient, depending on their individual goals and expectations. In order to achieve optimal results, it is often recommended to undergo an initial treatment with 2-3 vials of Kybella in the submental fat pad and along the jawline. The precise number of vials and treatment plan will be determined by a trained medical professional based on a thorough assessment.
After completing a treatment session, it is advisable to allow a period of 8-12 weeks before considering a re-treatment. While it is possible to have subsequent treatments before this timeframe, it's important to note that patients may experience swelling for approximately 4-6 weeks following each session. Although this swelling may not be visible to others, patients may personally feel swollen. It's essential to embrace this temporary swelling as part of the process, as it is a step towards achieving the desired outcome. Initial results typically become noticeable around the 4-6 week mark, with full results being achieved by week 12. Allowing the body ample time to respond and progress naturally is advised to avoid unnecessary expenses.
On average, most patients undergo 2 treatments using a total of 2-6 vials of Kybella. However, the exact number of vials and treatments required can vary depending on the treatment area and the specific goals of the patient. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional who can tailor the treatment plan to address your unique needs and desired outcomes. Trusting the process and following the recommended guidelines will help ensure the best possible results.
-
Kybella results are considered permanent because the treatment destroys fat cells in the targeted area. Once the fat cells are eliminated, they can no longer store or accumulate fat. Therefore, the reduction in fullness achieved through Kybella injections is expected to be long-lasting.
It's important to note that individual results may vary, and factors such as weight fluctuations and aging can still affect the appearance of the treated area over time. However, the fat cells that have been destroyed by Kybella should not return or regenerate. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet and regular exercise, can help optimize and maintain the results of Kybella treatment. It is always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice and to discuss any specific concerns.

-
Arissence Pure PDGF+ works by utilizing the power of Platelet-Derived Growth Factors (PDGFs) to stimulate the skin's natural healing and regenerative processes. Growth factors are proteins that play a crucial role in cell communication, stimulating skin cells to accelerate healing, boost collagen production, and promote cellular renewal.
When applied topically, Arissence Pure PDGF+ targets the skin's deeper layers, encouraging increased cell turnover and strengthening the skin’s barrier. This helps improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and enhance overall tone and radiance. The growth factors within the formula support the rejuvenation process, making it an ideal solution for post-procedure care, as well as for maintaining youthful, healthy skin.
By improving the skin's ability to repair itself, Arissence Pure PDGF+ helps restore vitality and firmness, resulting in visibly smoother, brighter, and more radiant skin. The product works quickly and efficiently, providing noticeable results with consistent use.
-
We will be offering:
Injected - Topical with Microneedling
-
When applied to the skin, Arissence Pure PDGF+ works to enhance skin regeneration and healing on the surface level. The growth factors stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and help even out skin tone. With consistent use, clients can expect a noticeable improvement in skin hydration, smoothness, and radiance. It also supports post-procedure recovery, reducing redness and promoting faster healing after treatments like microneedling or chemical peels. Over time, the skin looks healthier, firmer, and more youthful with fewer fine lines and an overall glow.
When injected, Arissence Pure PDGF+ delivers growth factors directly into the dermal layers of the skin, where they can have a more targeted and intensive effect. The growth factors work to stimulate deeper collagen and elastin production, leading to more significant improvements in skin elasticity, tone, and firmness. This method promotes skin regeneration at a cellular level, helping to reduce deeper wrinkles, sagging, and overall skin laxity. Injectable treatments can provide more immediate and dramatic results, making it a popular choice for those seeking a more intensive rejuvenation treatment.
